For all you design hounds, this post is a heads up that the Orla Kiely collection is on the clearance rack at your local Target (Hagerstown).  Locally, I’ve seen some Orla products in the window of The Skin Care Shop.  Of course Anthropologie has featured her delicious (and anthro-expensive!) wallpapers on their site from time to time. So when the Kiely collection for Target was announced back in January, it took the blog world by storm.  EVERYBODY covered it because now everybody could actually afford it.  And it is quite lovely.

Check the clearance racks in the Hagerstown Target Store in the rear of the Rug, Sheets, Pillows section.  In Target lingo, this is area of the store is called “Blue World.” What that means to you is when you walk in the door, look up and head towards the big blue sign in the sky.  While it seems like most of the collections of melamine cups, platters and dishes sold locally, the clearance area does include some prize cloth and soft goodies like the Pear Motif Floor Mat ($9), the cute Dot Flower & Baby Blue dish towel set ($5 & pictured below) and the Pear Motif Wrap-Around Oven Mitt ($5). There are also some Orange/Brown color themed cloth items available as well.  I’m curious how long they’ll last…
